With the integration loan, the City of Zurich supports projects that contribute to improving the coexistence of the population in the City of Zurich who have moved from abroad and have been living in the City of Zurich for some time. Activities that are planned and implemented by people of different origins or affiliations and are aimed at a heterogeneous target group are considered particularly worthy of support.

A total of CHF 200,000 is available per year. This means that an average of 30 to 40 projects are supported annually.

Applications for the integration loan can be submitted throughout the year. Applications for the municipal integration loan with contributions of more than CHF 5,000 are decided only twice a year. Submission deadlines are 31 March and 31 October. As a rule, the decision is made within two months.
