Zurich meets Seoul 2019
With the festival "Zurich meets Seoul – A Festival of Two Cities", the two city governments reaffirmed the "Memorandum of Understanding" signed in 2018 to promote exchange in the areas of e-government, science, culture and tourism. For the first time, a Zurich business delegation led by Carmen Walker Späh, President of the Government and Director of Economic Affairs, travelled to Seoul with the official political and scientific delegation. The delegation met with numerous local companies such as SK-Telekom, Hyundai and Samsung Electronics.
Zürich meets Seoul – A Festival of Two Cities is the fifth edition of a global celebration series connecting Zurich with some of the most inspirational cities in the world. The weeklong festival took place in Seoul from 28 September to 5 October 2019. Exciting events showcased science, technology, art and lifestyle in cooperation with partners from Zurich and Seoul. Thanks a lot to everyone who has contributed to the festival and made this fruitful exchange possible!
