The Zurich financial centre is an important international financial centre, the largest financial centre in Switzerland and a mainstay of Zurich's economy. The financial sector is of central importance in Zurich as an employer, trainer, taxpayer and promoter of cultural institutions.
Activities
Dialogue between the financial sector and politics and administration
The Economic Development Agency organises an annual debate between the City of Zurich (represented by the Mayor and the Chief Financial Officer), high-ranking representatives of the Zurich financial centre, the State Secretariat for International Financial Matters, the Swiss National Bank and members of the cantonal government.
