Socio-spatial study for the Rosengarten-Buchegg area
Socio-spatial study for the Rosengarten-Buchegg area
The Rosengartentram and Rosengartentunnel project concerns densely populated areas. After its realization in its environment, it will largely lead to a massive improvement in the current situation in terms of living quality, separation effect and attractiveness of public spaces. Due to the scale of the project, urban development commissioned this study in 2014 in consultation with the Office for Urban Development and the Social Services. It sheds light on the socio-spatial opportunities and challenges associated with the transport infrastructure project from an external perspective.
Together with the workshop report of the test planning of December 2015 (Office for Urban Development), the socio-spatial study served as the basis for the synthesis "From the traffic lane to the lifeline, area development Rosengarten-/Bucheggstrasse, guiding principles and potentials" of March 2016.
