There are many free digital learning opportunities: apps, youtube, virtual reality games, etc. On the Facebook page German learn at home you will find a lot of tips for different levels.
German at home
The best way to learn a language is in daily interaction. Bring German to your home:
- For example, label important objects (furniture, food, appliances...) in your home on German. So you can comfortably learn words while brushing your teeth or cooking.
- Listen to German-language radio while cleaning your apartment.
- Write your shopping list on German.
- Watch movies, news or SERIES on German. Use subtitles in your language to better understand the content. Or use subtitles on German.
- Start reading short texts on German as early as possible. For the beginning, for example, comics. The images help to understand the text.
Online Language Tandems
Talk to German via video chat! For example, with someone from your German course. Or look for a tandem partner. For example, here.
