In 2010, twelve neighbouring municipalities of the city of Zurich took part in a study (CityRregion.NET) with the aim of finding ways to optimise cooperation between a large city and small and medium-sized municipalities. One of the concrete results of the study was the desire on the part of the municipalities to have a list available showing which services are offered by the City of Zurich for other municipalities. Since then, this list has been regularly revised and made available here.
