The Career Centre is there for you. Its professionals can show you what your options are. Perhaps further training is what you need. Or you could pursue a course of study. The city of Zurich can give you money to do that.

What is further training?
Further training is a course on a specific topic.
This could be something like a language course or a computer course.
You can do this if you want to know more about a particular topic. Or if you do not know anything about a topic yet.
With further training you can do more in your job. You might even get paid more. Or you could find a new job that suits you better.

What is the Career Centre?
The Career Centre is all about jobs, education and training.
It is staffed by professionals who advise you.
You receive information and the professionals can help you if you need money for education or training.
What happens at the Career Centre?
You talk to a professional about your job and about what you have learned.
They want to know a lot about you. For example, what else you can do or how well you speak German.
The person makes suggestions regarding which job or which training course is good for you.
If necessary, the professional will help you get money for further training.

Who can get money for studying/training?
Anyone who
- Has lived in the city of Zurich for more than 2 years and
- Has had a job for 5 years but does not earn very much money.
