We are happy that you are moving to our city. To help you settle in to Zurich as well as possible, we have compiled some important information about the city and its services for you.

• In the chapter City Portrait we introduce you to the city. You will receive information about Zurich as well as insights into its history and city politics.
• In the chapter Useful Information you will find important addresses about everyday life in Zurich as well as further links to mostly German-language websites or (if available) to information in the corresponding language (e.B. in English).

Your new place of residence Zurich offers you the ideal environment for a high quality of life. The location on the lake, the cosmopolitan population and the economic dynamism can also make Zurich a city for you in which you quickly feel at home, which you enjoy and for which you may also like to get involved.
