As part of Zurich's guest appearance at the "Mustermesse Basel", Züritüütsch met Baseldytsch: "Züri-Basel Slang Jam" was the name of the installation focused on listening and speaking. She invited the visitors to walk through an oversized, stylized ear cup and listen to funny, contemplative and provocative texts about Zurich and Basel on old telephones. 3D panoramic images conveyed colorful impressions of the host city. The poetry slammers Simon Chen, Hazel Brugger and Rea Reggli from Zurich as well as Gregor Stäheli and Daniela Dill from Basel fed the ear cup daily with language games. An opportunity for exhibition visitors to reduce competitive thinking and get to know Zurich as a cosmopolitan, self-deprecating metropolis.
