The city of Zurich wants to help the people fleeing Ukraine. To this end, it is supporting Swiss Solidarity and the four Swiss aid organisations Terre des Hommes, HEKS/EPER, Caritas and the Swiss Red Cross with CHF 100,000 each.

The City of Zurich is supporting Medico International Switzerland with CHF 162,000 for the procurement of hygiene kits and for ensuring the water supply and HEKS/EPER with CHF 48,000 for the provision of food parcels and hygiene kits for the benefit of internally displaced persons in northern Syria.

The City of Zurich is supporting Terre des hommes Kinderhilfe Lausanne with CHF 100,000 for the victims of the earthquake in Albania at the end of November 2019.
