Submit documents
Please send any documents we requested by post to:

(Please mention our nine-digit reference number. You can find it in the letter or e-mail we sent you.)
Order a birth certificate
If you delivered your child in a hospital or birth centre in the city of Zurich, you will automatically receive a birth certificate.
At the online service desk, you can order additional birth certificates any time (fees occur).
Paternity recognition
If the parents are not married to each other, it is beneficial if the father recognises his child before birth. You can find the necessary information under the section «paternity recognition».
