
We are happy about all people who visit our museum and would like to offer a hospitable atmosphere to all interested parties. Every visit to the greenhouses, the rockery and the cold frames area is unique - whether in the warm or cold season. Our plants make the exhibition!

The greenhouses and the facility are open daily (including Sundays and public holidays) from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Admission is free. Our permanent collection can be visited free of charge.
The Zurich Succulent Collection is located on Mythenquai, directly on Lake Zurich.

- Bus 161 or 165 to the "Sukkulentensammlung" stop
- Tram 7 to the "Brunaustrasse" stop, then a five-minute walk.

The collection is largely wheelchair accessible. The nearest handicapped-accessible toilet is located in the building of the nearby water police, Mythenquai 73. It is accessible free of charge with an Eurokey, without incurring costs of CHF 1.–.

In the greenhouses, photography without a tripod is allowed. When there is a high number of visitors, it can get crowded in the corridors, so we ask for mutual consideration.
Entering the beds is strictly prohibited.

Commercial recordings are generally only allowed by arrangement. This also includes recordings of influencers with product tagging. Contact us for more information.
Are you looking for a seminar room? Are you planning a business event in an extraordinary location? Do you need rooms for your club meetings? Parts of the collection can be rented for training, lectures, meetings or aperitifs. This all is possible if a guided tour of the Sukki is booked at the same time.
Grün Stadt Zürich also rents out a wide variety of rooms in the unique surroundings of the Stadtgärtnerei am Sackzelg in Albisrieden.
The house rules are binding on all visitors. By entering the display areas, you accept the regulations.
- Our plants must not be touched, damaged or affected in any other way. The plant population is unique and cannot be replaced.
- Eating and drinking is possible in the courtyard. Smoking is also possible in the courtyard.
- Strollers may be taken into the show areas. But the passages are narrow. Strollers may be temporarily parked in the information room, provided that no closed event is taking place there.
- Photography and filming is permitted for private purposes in the show area. Photos and films that are posted on the net or in social media and commercial shootings are only possible in consultation and in any case for a fee.
- Large bags and backpacks, umbrellas, rainwear and other bulky items must be deposited in the lockers.
- Teachers, group leaders and guardians are responsible for the appropriate behaviour of children and young people who are accompanied by them.
- Animals are not permitted in the display collection, with the exception of certified assistance dogs.
- Insults, discrimination, racism, sexual harassment and any form of assaultive behaviour towards other visitors and staff will not be accepted.
- The staff has the task of ensuring compliance with the house rules and the safety of people and the plants. Their instructions must therefore be followed at all times.
- Visitors who continue to violate the house rules after instructions have been given may be prohibited from continuing to stay in the show area.
