Reactions of the local population to immigration

Integration affects society as a whole. On the one hand, their success lies in the responsibility of the newcomers who want their integration and have to do something about it. On the other hand, integration also depends on the host society.
The Zurich Migration Conference 2010 addressed the reactions of the Swiss population to immigration from abroad. She took both a historical and an international comparative perspective, but also asked in particular about the current situation. In addition to the views of experts, different perceptions of the younger generation were also discussed.
