People in Switzerland are living longer and longer. The group of migrated elderly population is also increasing. Thus, demographic change is not only a major challenge in general, but also for foreigners in particular. The aim of our working group is to master this challenge in the best possible way in cooperation with the city's politics and administration. We would like to support the elderly foreigners and their relatives.

It can be assumed that first-generation migrants in particular have a lack of information and knowledge for life in old age and the challenges associated with it. That's why we organize events on topics such as: living wills, retirement homes, finances, insurance. In addition, we would like to impart transcultural skills to municipal employees in this area in order to sensitize them to the needs of older foreigners. The focus is particularly on language skills.
