Are you interested in increasing the involvement of migrants in volunteer work? We are interested in your experiences, questions and inputs on the topic.

The City of Zurich, represented by a delegation from the Integration Promotion And the AOZ, participated in the European project VALUES from 2019 to 2020. In a group with three other European cities, the increased involvement of migrants and refugees in volunteer work was highlighted. In this context, the Promotion of Integration, in cooperation with the Contact Point for Volunteering and the AOZ, developed a first draft of an action plan for the increased involvement of migrants and refugees in local volunteer work. The action plan will include the future objectives and concrete implementations for the increased involvement of migrants in volunteer work.

Further perspectives and ideas are needed for the further development of the working paper. For this purpose, interested representatives of NGOs, voluntary organisations, migrant organisations and actors who are involved at the neighbourhood level are cordially invited to participate in the workshop.
