Diverse and important for the local economy
The Zurich region is by far the strongest tourism region in Switzerland. As a cross-sectional sector, tourism provides significant income impulses for a large number of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). In addition to the hotel industry, gastronomy and retail, but also other industries benefit from guests from Germany and abroad.
