There are courses with childcare, intensive courses, evening courses or subsidized courses.

Are you and your family short of money?
With the KulturLegi card you will be reimbursed 100% of the cost of the German courses subsidized by the city once you have completed the course.
The course providers of the city-subsidized German courses will inform you about the conditions and the process for reimbursement.
Some private schools also offer discounts on German courses for people with a KulturLegi. Information can be found at Caritas Zurich under Selection/Zurich/Education.
You need recognized language certificates for immigration and citizenship proceedures. You must prove your language skills with recognized language certificates. These certificates are based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and meet international quality standards.
