On May 25 and 26, Vienna's Mayor Dr. Michael Ludwig and the First Mayor of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, Dr. Peter Tschentscher, visited Zurich. Together with Mayor Corine Mauch, they continued the «Trilogue» between the three cities, which was launched in 2019, and deepened the exchange on key challenges to all three cities. This year's meeting in Zurich covered topics including housing, energy supply and culture; visits were made to the Kalkbreite cooperative in the Zollhaus, where guests gained insight into «Hallenwohnen», Empa's NEST and the new Tonhalle.

In June, a delegation of urban planners from the Cantonal Planning Institute and employees of the Sarajevo City Administration visited Zurich. The main objectives of the study trip were the exchange of expertise on sustainable urban development and to foster the relationship between the two city administrations regarding future cooperations. Furthermore, the delegation learned about urban planning and its instruments in Zurich, notably the challenges in the elaboration and implementation of the municipal structure plan and its opportunities concerning managing growth of the city. They visited various projects on the revitalisation of urban neighbourhoods through participatory processes, on climate adaptation, and on green spaces and public spaces. The study tour was part of the Urban Transformation Project Sarajevo (UTPS) financed by the SECO. 

During a study tour of the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy to Zurich, participating officials from the Singaporean government exchanged with members of the city administration on Zurich's urban development strategies and sustainable building. They discussed specific projects, the planning tools and strategies to promote sustainable growth against the backdrop of the different governance structures and political systems in Zurich and Singapore.

In mid-May, the first five second-hand ambulances successfully arrived in Ukraine. They were distributed to hospitals in Kharkiv and Kramatorsk. More vehicles will be delivered as part of this joint project between the City of Zurich, the Canton of Basel and the DEZA.
